Lancer Evo X

Edmunds just posted there long term test and reviews of the Evo X MR. Check it out here: Edmund’s Evo X MR Review. I personally think it is a bit biased.

The review covers almost all the things the Evo X MR has. What I really like about the review is that not just 1 writer reviews all parts of the car, its numerous writers cover individual parts of the Evo X MR. The review covers these aspects of the car:

1. The Evo X’s gauges compared to the 08 STI and Nissan GTR (calling Evo’s Gauges the Lamest of the three).
2. Evo X’s Recaro racing seats (and how uncomfortable it is to get in and out of, but how it hugs your body).
3. Gas Milage (miles to tank, mpg, how shitty the mpg is overall).
4. Evo X MR’s TC-SST Transmission (goods and bads. slower on streets, better & faster on track).
5. Acceleration of car (more like lag the turbo has before it spools, even with a twin scroll turbo).
6. Trunk Space (or should I say lack of trunk space).
7. Something or another about Tacos in the Evo’s cupholder (I don’t read articles that start with a picture of a taco in its cupholder).
8. Hood & Wing (busted hood in 8 days, and hidiously awesome wing).
9. Brakes (how awesomely big they are)
10. And overall comfort and functionality of the Evo X Mr if you were a daily driver (how its not a great car for a daily driver but definitely not the worst)

The review is quite entertaining and even though I was personaly affended (okay not really affended but some things I disagreed with) I would say its still a good read. It would be better if it was video.
